Federal government has decided to file a reference against Justice Waqar Seth in Supreme Judicial Council, according to media reports.

Justice Waqar Seth was heading the special bench along with Justice Nazar Akbar and Justice Shahid Karim that awarded former president General ® Pervez Musharraf death sentence in high treason case.The detailed judgement issued today (Thursday) said that the former president should not be allowed to escape the punishment and his corpse should be hanged at D-chowk for three days if he dies before being punished as per the verdict.
