Barrister Hassaan Niazi gave a press conference after appearing before the ATC ten days after a warrant for his arrest was issued.
The barrister started out by saying that this was an attempt to destroy his career. And on one occasion he also broke into tears.
He then said that it was the responsibility of the media to show the whole picture. He admonished the media for not showing the full footage of his actions there.
He stated that he is ashamed of his actions and that no one is above the law.
He also added that he had contacted CM Punjab Usman Buzdar to take note of the issues between the lawyers and doctors. According to him, the law minister and health minister should have sat down with the communities and solved the issue.
He also added that the doctor who started the whole conflict should also have been punished.
