Arhsad Nadeem To Qualify For Tokyo Olympics Directly

Pakistani athlete Arshad Nadeem has set a new nationals and South Asian Games record in Javelin throw and has also directly qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

 

Arshad Nadeem broke the record previously held by Indian athlete Neeraj Chopra by throwing at length of 86.29 meters. He is also the first ever Pakistani to directly qualify for the Olympics.

 

Nadeem’s athletic history has been decorated with medals and achievements. He brought home the silver medal for javelin throwing in the Rio Olympics and had also won medals in previous South Asian Games as well.
