Shehbaz Sharif Hints At In-House Change Addressing ‘Azadi March’
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif on Friday hinted at an in-house change, saying it was a democratic and constitutional right of the opposition to push for the change inside the parliament, reported Naya Daur.

Addressing the ‘Azadi March’ of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam – Fazl (JUI-F), Shehbaz Sharif said that the people of Pakistan were suffering due to government’s policies and the hundreds of thousands of people protesting against the government today were witnesses to the fact that people wanted a change.

“Inflation is rising, doctors and nurses are on the roads. Imran Khan used to talk about 10 million jobs but only unemployment is rising in his government. When Nawaz Sharif was in power, people were getting free medicine in government hospitals; even those are not available to the poor anymore”, he said.

The former Punjab Chief Minister said that precious lives were lost to Dengue virus this year because of government’s failure to deal with the epidemic.

“Imran Khan’s brain is empty. He wants to run the country through ‘magic’”, Shehbaz said. He added that he hadn’t seen a worse government in 72 years of Pakistan’s history.

The PML-N President said that it was parliament’s right to bring change within the parliament.

Earlier, JUI-F leaders addressed the public meeting. Thousands gathered at Islamabad’s Peshawar Mor to protest against the PTI government. According to Naya Daur, 95% of the protesters are JUI-F supporters while there are supporters from PML-N, Awami National Party, Pakhtunkhwa-Milli Awami Party and others as well.
