Reham Criticises PTI Govt For Not Giving Maryam Nawaz Diet Coke In Jail
Journalist Reham Khan has criticised Prime Minister Imran Khan over Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government’s restrictions on Maryam Nawaz’s diet coke.

In a video statement, the ex-wife of the prime minister stated, "The Sharif family is a very resilient family. Your leader cannot spend even a single day in jail."

She added that today you (PTI) had stopped Maryam Nawaz from drinking diet, adding, “It would be very difficult if your leader is stopped from consuming coke in jail."

She stated, "You have placed restrictions on her diet coke today. Tomorrow if you have to spend a day in jail, you may not be served any coke, pepsi or seven-up."

Reham also stated that what was happening today in the Pakistani political arena today was ‘karma’, in a reference to the environment in 2014 when the PTI had carried out its sit-in in Islamabad.

She added that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rahman was doing the same things like dharna, long march, shutterdown and protest, which Imran was doing in 2014.

Referring to PTI’s dharna in 2014, she said that the party took 126 days, and nothing had happened.

She added that the betrayal and disloyalty that the PTI had engaged in, the same was happening to them. She added, “The same people with whom you formed your small majority, are threatening you,” in a reference to Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Parvez Elahi opposing PTI on the Nawaz Sharif issue.

She added, "Your allies are also going to leave you. Ch Pervez Elahi was advising you to let Nawaz go abroad but you did not respond. You were disloyal to others in the past and now your people are going to be unfaithful to you."
