Pakistan Muslim League – N (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz has said that former PM Nawaz Sharif is critically ill and his health condition demands he be taken abroad for medical treatment.
She expressed these views while talking to media persons during her appearance before an accountability court in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case. She said that Nawaz Sharif's platelet count is critically low and that they could not compromise on his health.
“Health before politics”, Maryam further said, adding that she is unable to accompany the former PM abroad because of her name on the Exit Control List (ECL). The PML-N leader also told media that Shehbaz Sharif is making efforts to take the ailing former PM abroad for medical treatment.
