Manzoor Pashteen Meets Journalists In Park After Being Denied Entry To Press Club
The Islamabad Press Club on Saturday expelled journalists who had invited Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement leader Manzoor Pashteen for an off-the-record session.
According to a tweet from his account, journalist Ilyas Khan stated that the federal capital’s senior journalists had invited PTM leader Manzoor Pashteen to their weekly senior journalists’ forum.
The coordinator of the forum was told that Pashteen would be arrested if he came to the press club. Following this, the organisers informed Pashteen, who expressed his desire to come to the meeting.
The ruling body of the press club locked the club library and placed a ban on the entry of the forum coordinator.
The forum was subsequently held in a park across the club.
