Both PM And COAS Claim Credit For 'Economic Progress'
Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa have contradicted each other when it comes to claiming credit for the betterment of the economy.

In a local newspaper, two news items placed together showed how the chief executive of the country and the army chief were both taking credit for making the economy better.

While one news item reported the prime minister as thanking his economic team for economic stability, the other reported the army chief as attributing economic progress to the work done by security forces.

It seems from the news report that both the prime minister and army chief think that the stabilisation of the economy was a result of their efforts. This says a lot about the uncertainty and confusion that prevails as to who is running the affairs of the country.
