Azadi March Participants Have Solar Panels To Sustain Gadgets
Participants of the Azadi march have come prepared with solar panels to sustain their electronics and gadgets for the sit-in in Islamabad’s H-9 area.

The Jamiat Uleme-e-Islam (JUI-F) supporters, which form the largest portion of the participants of the Azadi march, have brought solar panels along with them in order to sustain their cell phones and emergency lights while at the march.

According to a report in Dawn, the participants have brought enough gadgets and necessities with an aim to spend more than three to seven days at the sit-in.

The party has reportedly divided its supporters into teams, and each team has a solar panel. One solar panel can charge five phones at a time.

Participants have stated that they brought solar panels as they had heard the government would not be providing electricity to them. They were of the view that cell phones were important for remaining in touch with relatives and family members.

Moreover, participants of the Azadi March have expressed reservations over the suspension of internet services in the area of the sit-in. They alleged that the government suspended services so attendees would not be able to upload pictures and videos of the gathering on social media.
