Altaf Hussain Urges Modi To Grant Him Asylum In India
The founder of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Altaf Hussain, has urged Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give him and his supporters political asylum in India.

In a speech posted on social media, Altaf Hussain stated that he desired to go to India. He said that he was ready to come to India if PM Modi provided asylum to him and his colleagues.

Hussain also expressed the desire to pray at his relatives' graves. He said that his grandfather, grandmother and thousands of relatives were buried in India and he wished to pray at their graves.

The MQM founder, however, assured that he would not interfere in politics. He further appealed to the Indian prime minister to give him financial aid if an asylum was not possible.
