Additional Attorney General Tariq Khokhar has resigned from his post. On Monday, Tariq Khokhar had submitted an application on the government's behalf seeking to halt the verdict in Pervez Musharraf treason case, which was reserved by the Supreme Court (SC).
The additional AG stated that his conscience does not allow him to pursue this case. The additional attorney general reportedly held a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan before announcing his decision.
