Television host Aamir Liaquat Hussain, who was recently in the news for his second marriage to Tuba Aamir, is apparently in the mood to tie the knot again.
Aamir Liaquat and Tuba Aamir appeared on actor Fiza Ali’s talk show, where Liaquat made a joke about being married to Fiza, that too in front of his wife.
When Fiza Ali announced the couple’s entry on stage, Fiza asked Tuba if she could stand beside her husband. In response, Aamir jokingly replied, “It could have been you who would have been announced to come with me, but you’re a little late.”
Though Aamir was joking about being married to Fiza on her show, the latter has revealed that Liaquat had actually proposed to her earlier.
In a recent interview, she said that Aamir was a great person with a clean heart. “He is a very jolly kind of person. He does not keep anything in his heart, he says what he thinks,” she said.
She added, “When I got divorced, he proposed to me in front of his wife with a good gesture. It was not like we used to meet or something. I just went to Karachi and he directly talked to me about marriage when he got to know that I have separated from my husband.”
Fiza said that Liaquat wanted to get married to her in front of the world, and proposed to her in a ‘very nice manner’ in front of his wife, Bushra. She added, “But I was battling depression and used to ignore everything. Then after this, I heard about his second marriage with Tuba. Both are my really good friends.”
“He came on the show and joked about it again. He said it’s not too late to get married,” Fiza said, adding that Tuba had no problem with it.
