HR Ministry Appoints Mehwish Hayat As Goodwill Ambassador For Girls’ Rights

Pakistani superstar Mehwish Hayat has been selected as the Goodwill Ambassador for girls’ rights by the Ministry of Human Rights in Pakistan.
In a video posted on social media, the star announced that she was delighted to be appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador for girls’ rights. She said that she was proud of the fact that she would be playing an important role for the rights of girls.

She said that she was looking forward to raise awareness about issues related to rights of girls, adding that if girls were given their rights, they could change the world.
The actress has been receiving much acclaim recently. In March, the actress received the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz for her contributions to the world of entertainment. In August, she received a Pride of Performance award in Oslo.
Recently, the artist had been quite vocal about the Kashmir issue and had called out fellow Indian artists who were supporting Indian action in Kashmir.
