Former PTI MNA Booked Under Murder

Police have booked former member of National Assembly from Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Dr Nisar Jutt along with seven others in a cross-version case on charges of murdering his relative and a rival.

The complaint was registered by a woman named Sidra of Chak 66-JB, Jhang Road. The complaint stated that her brother, Abdul Rehman, had political rivalry with Dr Jutt and that Dr Jutt would give life threats to her brother.

The complainant stated that Dr Jutt, along with his accomplices, attacked Abdul Rehman near Moti Sain shrine at Chak 65-JB when the latter was on his way to Sheikhupura.

Rehman received serious injuries and later died on his way to the hospital.

The police have booked Dr Nisar Jutt, and seven of his accomplices but no arrest has been made so far.

Reportedly, on Friday night, Abdul Rehman and some supporters of Dr Jutt engaged in a crossfire near Moti Sain shrine.

The crossfire resulted in three deaths. A murder case against Rehman and his accomplices was registered by Thekariwala police.
