FIR Against Doctors, Teachers Lodged For Kidnap And Rape

Police in Bahawalpur have registered a case against a gang of doctors and private teachers for the kidnapping and rape of an 18-year-old girl.

Police came to know of the group when a girl was allegedly abducted, given the ice drug, and raped.

According to a report in Dawn, Civil Lines police registered a case last Friday on the complaint of the victim’s father after his daughter had returned home by fleeing from the house in which she was kept.

The girl had gone missing on October 16 and the family had searched for her till she returned two days later.

Spokesperson of the Bahawalpur district police chief spokesperson, Ijaz Shah, told media that the complainant, a property dealer, had registered a case under sections of abduction and rape.

The FIR stated that the 18-year-old girl was a ninth grade student and used to attend an academy where she met two doctors and two teachers, including a woman.

When the girl returned home, she alleged that the suspects had kidnapped her, given her ice, and sexually assaulted her.

The suspects are yet to be arrested. However, District Police Officer Sarfraz Virk has assured the complainant that the suspect would be arrested soon.
