Arrest warrants have been issued against singer Rabi Pirzada by a Lahore court for keeping wild animals.
Reportedly, the Model Town court had conducted the hearing for the case. Rabi Pirzada has failed to appear before the court despite repeated summons and even today, she was not present.
Earlier this month, Rabi Pirzada’s pictures and videos on social media showing her with wild animals were aired by a TV channel.
The Punjab Wildlife Protection and Parks Department sprung into actions against the singer for possession of wild animals as pets at her parlour, including four pythons, an alligator and snakes as pets.
The singer’s actions stand in violation of the Wildlife Act, according to which exotic and wild animals such as alligators, snakes, and other reptiles.

The court reprimanded Rabi Pirzada’s representative for their client’s ‘callous attitude’ and issued the arrest warrants for the celebrity.
