Civil Hospital Karachi’s Nine Out Of 14 Ambulances Not Fit For Use
Nine ambulances of the Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) have been dysfunctional for several months.

Sources at Civil Hospital Karachi informed media that the hospital administration has made no attempts to repair the out of service ambulances.

The sources said that the hospital had 14 ambulances for patients and out of them, nine were not in working order due to various problems.


They added that only five ambulances were available for use and were currently being used to transport patients and staff.

Moreover, sources also apprised media that the operational ambulances required maintenance on an urgent basis. They added that among the nine ambulances were two Mercedes, four Hi-roog Vans, and a Toyota ambulance which, along with the rest were kept parked in the hospital as they were not fit for use.
