Samleti Bomb Blast: 6 Indian Muslims Acquitted After 23 Years In Jail
Six people, including five Kashmiris, were released on Tuesday after spending 22 years in Indian jails. Javed Khan, Latif Ahmed Baja, Mohammad Ali Bhatt, Mirza Nisar and Abdul Ghani are from Jammu and Kashmir. Raees Beg is a resident of Agra, Uttar Pradesh. These men were accused of being involved in a bomb blast, killing 14 people and injuring 37 on May 22, 1996.
