Proposal Of Not Offering Leave On the Birth of Fourth Child Rejected
ISLAMABAD: The Senate Standing Committee on Finance, Revenue and Economic Affairs rejected the bill presented by Senator Qurrat-ul-Ann Marri regarding not granting leave on the birth of fourth child, describing the proposal as discriminatory.

Marri briefed the committee on her bill, but Senator Musadik Malik was of the view that there were some contradictions.

The bill had stated that parents would be get paid leave for first three children but not in the case of fourth.
