Bilawal Claims Government Refusing To Shift Zardari to Hospital
The chairman of the Pakistan’s People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the government was refusing to transfer his father, Asif Ali Zardari, to a hospital.
In a tweet shared on social media site Twitter, Bilawal said that he had visited his father in jail. He added that government doctors have advised that Zardari should be taken to a hospital, but the government had refused.
The PPP chairman also threatened to hold the government responsible if something happened to Zardari.

Earlier, Bilawal had accused the government of ‘attempting to kill’ his father as they were not providing him medical facilities.
PPP politician Sharjeel Memon had also tweeted that preventing access to medical facilities was a violation of basic human rights.
Government Should follow the instructions of Doctors and immediately provide medical facility to Mr Asif Ali Zardari. It’s the open violation of basic human rights.

In June, Asif Ali Zardari was arrested and later shifted to Adiala Jail in connection with money laundering. His sister, Faryal Talpur was also arrested. In early August, Faryal Talpur had fallen ill and had to be taken to a hospital. It remains to be seen whether the former president will be accorded the privilege of going to a hospital.
