During a press conference on Monday, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry revealed that the ministry will be inviting notable tech leaders and Nobel Laurette Malala for the upcoming sci-tech event.
“We are sending invitations to Tesla owner Elon Musk, principal founder of Microsoft Corporation Bill Gates, and Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg to attend the conference in Pakistan,” Chaudhry added during the presser.
The said event has been titled as 'Think Future' where Chaudhry aims to gather around technology giants from all across the world. It is pertained to mention here that since Chaudhry took the oath, the ministry seems relatively active with different initiatives.
As per reports, the conference will be held on October 17, a day to mark the birth anniversary of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, a leading Muslim educationist, writer and reformer from the 19th century.
The entries have already opened on July 1 while entrants will be granted loans from the ministry for their said science initiatives.
