The initial examples of women's resistance literature can be found in ancient Greek literature but it formally began with Europe’s Renaissance. Its major demand was provision of human rights to women and acceptance of their existence along with all its dimensions. Several rights movements came to the fore as a consequence of French Revolution and the basic demands included egalitarianism and equal distribution of resources.
