Maryam Says Judge Admitted He Was Coerced To Convict Nawaz Sharif, Shares Video
PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz on Saturday claimed that the accountability court judge, Arshad Malik, invited PML-N UK leader Nasir Butt to his residence and confessed that he was forced to convict Nawaz Sharif.

Addressing a press conference, Maryam shared the video, audio and transcript of the discussion between Malik and Butt, in which the judge has seemingly admitted that he was coerced.

The PML-N vice-president, who was flanked by party president Shehbaz Sharif and other party leaders including Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Khawaja Asif, warned that in case anyone tried to play nasty, she had even bigger evidences with names. "Even a jailed Nawaz Sharif threatens them," she remarked.

Maryam said she had promised that she won’t allow making Nawaz Sharif another Morsi. She was fighting for the country’s every prime minister who had been removed wrongly, said the PML-N leader.

If Nawaz Sharif still remains in jail after this irrefutable proof then it would be a great injustice to the three-time prime minister and the supremo of the country’s largest party as well as to the justice system, said Maryam who, however, added that she did not have any dispute with any institution.

"Why shouldn't we call you selected? You are a selected PM and that's how you will be remembered by history," Maryam said while addressing Prime Minister Imran Khan.

She said the opposition leaders were being targeted and everyone sitting on the stage was facing a case. Why the matters like BRT Peshawar and issues involving the sitting ministers of PTI were not being investigated by NAB, Maryam questioned.

She also lashed out at those who used religion card against the PML-N Government and Nawaz Sharif, adding that the PTI government got a taste of its own medicine [when Imran was accused of blasphemy].

She also cited the matter of Aleema Khan and the ever-changing narrative about the Bani Gala estate to prove her point.

At the end of the press conference, Maryam announced that she would be with the people of Mandi Bahauddin tomorrow (Sunday) despite the government not giving permission to hold a rally there.
