Iftikhar Ahmed Bids Farewell To ’17 Years Long Career As A TV Anchor’
LAHORE: Senior journalist Iftikhar Ahmed on Saturday announced his retirement from his career as a TV anchor.
In a tweet, wrote that he is leaving Channel 24 due to health reasons.
Due to health reasons I am resigning from Channel 24 and bidding farewell to my 17 years long career as a TV Anchor. It has been a great journey, thanking all those who supported and helped me throughout the years, even my critics too.

Iftikhar Ahmed thanked his supporters and critics who helped him improve throughout his career.
Iftikhar was working with Channel 24 for the last few months. Previously, he’s been associated with Geo News and Dunya News as well.
Iftikhar was affiliated with leftist groups during his student life. His bold program Jawabdeyh on Geo News was one of the most popular TV shows in Pakistan during early years of private media in the country.
