- I don’t think PEMRA has any role to play in this unless - they receive some complaint about the content of a program - In that case PEMRA can take legal action but it is quite time taking - So in my opinion, media houses, Pakistan Broadcasters Association, - Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists and the working journalists - should not adopt self-censorship and stand against the pressures - that are in violation of the constitution Media channels are unable to pay their employees, yet PEMRA is issuing new licences; what would you say about it?
