Story Of Ali Haidar Baloch

Ali Haidar Baloch, a 17-year-old activist who is known for participation in protests seeking return of missing persons including his own disappeared father, himself went missing on June 19

In 2013, at the age of 11, he participated in the Long March held against enforced disappearances in 2013. In the same year, he made an appearance in Hamid Mir’s show Capital Talk to talk about the demands of the long marchers.

Activists and journalists condemned the disappearance, calling on the authorities concerned to ensure his safe return. Fortunately, Ali Haider Baloch was released earlier today. But too many Baloch students and other Pakistanis still remain forcibly disappeared
