Nephew of Shah Mehmood Qureshi Fighting For Justice With His Father Refusing To Accept Him As Son
Syed Alamdar Raza – who is a nephew of Shah Mehmood Qureshi – has been battling his father is Makhdoom Abbas Akbar in court for three years, as Abbas denies that he is his son.

Abbas alias Moni Shah is allegedly also pressuring the lower court judges to keep the case lingering on in Lahore. He is also threatening the courts by stating in his application that he is related to Shah Mehmood and Tassaduq Hussain Jillani. He is a brother of Ahsan Shah who is brother-in-law of Qureshi.

Abbas, also the custodian of Darbar Hazrat Sher Shah, is reportedly doing his best to shift all his money abroad and flee the country.

He owns a lot of wealth both here and abroad. The case Syed Alamdar Raza vs Syed Abbas Akbar is currently pending with the court of Bushra Rashid at a Civil Court, LDA Block, in Lahore. It has so far been transferred to four or five judges.

Interestingly but not surprisingly, the request for a DNA test made by Alamdar, 25, has been rejected despite the evidence, since DNA tests are permissible in criminal cases and not parental cases.

On the other hand, those in the government and with influence should be held accountable, as they have kept complete silence on the issue and haven’t helped the applicant.

This is isn’t about politics. It is about a failed justice system that delays justice because they are scared of passing a judgement against the powerful elite.
