9-year-old Snapchat star from Saudi Arabia died of a sudden cardiac arrest on Monday as social media went in a state of complete shock.
According to her father, Dana Al Qahtani, suffered a sudden heart attack and was rushed to the hospital where she breathed her last.
The 9-year-old had posted a Snapchat story an hour before she suffered the attack. In the story, she was seen taking a trip to the mall with her family. In one of the videos, her father is seen teasing her to go to the shopping mall with her but she refused to go with the family.
According to Gulf News, she was a social media celebrity, and as the news of her untimely death broke her name began trending on Twitter.
Dana had a Snapchat account that she shared with her two sisters, Danh and Ghanati, where the two documented their day-to-day activities on the social networking app. The two had a huge fan following on their account.
"I am heartbroken. May God give patience and strength to her parents and family members," said one Twitter user.
