32-year-old Saeed is the founder of Sehat Kahani, a service that connects a network of doctors with impoverished people in the rural areas of Pakistan. She has created a telemedicine delivery system that can potentially work in remote communities around the world.

“A lot of female doctors here do not work after getting their degree. Instead, they become ‘doctor brides’ and stay home with their family. We’re putting these female doctors back into the workforce within the cultural norms that exist in Pakistan and connecting them to patients in poor and rural communities, using digital technology,” Saeed was quoted as saying by Rolex.

According to Saeed’s profile on her website, she has established a network of 23 e-clinics which are helping over 86,000 people throughout the country. Sehat Kahani employees 1,500 female doctors, and over 90 nurses and field health workers.

The start-up has also signed doctors living abroad. By 2023, Saeed aims to build over 100 e-clinics and serve around 10 million people.
