Mango harvest in Pakistan is likely to drop 30 per cent this season
Mango harvest in Pakistan is likely to drop 30 per cent this season because agricultural practices currently employed in Pakistan are obsolete which makes the country incapable of dealing with the effects of climate change.

Experts say global warming is the reason for this drop in production of country’s favourite fruit. Punjab and Sindh will see 35 percent and 10 percent

of decrease in production respectively

The fluctuation in temperature being witnessed frequently is not suitable for the mango crop. Experts have also warned that weather calendar

is changing and Pakistan needs to take certain steps accordingly

Will stakeholders in the country start taking climate change seriously and act anytime soon?.
