'Lowest Of The Lows': Bilawal Bhutto Slammed Over 'Suicide' Tweet
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb were slammed by social media users over 'suicide' tweets.

After Pakistan landed a deal with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Sunday, several politicians including Bilawal Bhutto and Marriyum Aurangzeb referred to Prime Minister Imran Khan's past speech in which he said that 'he would commit suicide than go to IMF' and urged the premier to 'commit suicide'.

Jamaat Ulama-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) official Twitter account also resorted to similar tweets, which have been widely criticized by Twitter users.

Twitter user Daanika Kamal urged politicians to 'stop using mental health for cheap shots'.

Journalist Atika Rehman said that politicians should know better than to crack jokes about suicide. "Yes, Imran Khan may have started it but rivals should know better than to crack jokes about what is CLEARLY a mental health issue."

Writer Nuzhat Siddiqui said that anyone who jokes about suicide is 'lowest of the lows'. "Slow clapping for the likes of Maryam Safdar and Bilawal Zardari for saying IK should commit suicide or that ‘who is on his suicide watch’. Suicide is NEVER a joke. Anyone who jokes about it for settling political scores is the lowest of the low."

Twitter user Saad Durrani said: "Making suicide-related jokes is neither clever nor funny. All of the people, this wasn't expected from Bilawal."

"As much as I sometimes appreciate Bilawal, this is insensitive, and in poor taste. Suicide is not something to joke about".
