Chinese National Arrested For Pushing Pakistani Worker Into Burning Furnace
A Chinese national was on Wednesday arrested in Faisalabad for pushing a Pakistani labourer into a burning furnace because the latter failed to comprehend his instructions.

The incident occurred at a factory in Faisalabad’s Sahianwala Industrial Estate. According to reports, the Chinese supervisor lost his cool when the Pakistani worker was unable to comprehend his instructions.

The injured employee was shifted to a nearby hospital for medical aid. Police have arrested the accused and launched an investigation into the matter. CPO Azhar Ikram told Express News that the matter will be dealt with according to the law.

A protest was launched by labourers shortly after the incident.

On the other hand, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has paced up its action against Chinese nationals allegedly involved in trafficking Pakistani girls.

Over 20 Chinese and Pakistani agents have been taken into custody during raids from Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, and Islamabad.

Earlier this week, two Pakistani girls who were to leave for China after marrying Chinese nationals revealed that their husbands were running brothels in Lahore on the pretext of marriage bureau.

Samina and Tasawur Bibi of Kot Momin tehsil, some 50 kilometres from Sargodha, accused their Chinese husbands of being involved in malpractices. Police said that the girls belonged to poor families who were promised that they would be staying in Lahore, while business opportunities will be provided to their families.

Soon after marriage, the girls, who were earlier told that the Chinese individuals had converted to Islam, realized that the men were neither Muslim nor honest.
