41 Pakistan Post Rest Houses Across Country Opened For Tourists
The Pakistan Post on Sunday announced that it has opened 41 guest houses across country for domestic and foreign tourists.

A senior official of the Pakistan Post said that the move was as per the wishes of Prime Minister Imran Khan. “The move was in line with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, who had been a strong proponent of promoting tourism in the country by offering cost-effective accommodations to travellers at scenic locations.”

He added that the move would not only boost tourism in the country, but also help generate revenue. The guest houses from Karachi to Murree were upgraded on the instructions of Minister for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed.

The guest houses were previously being used by employees of the Pakistan Post but will now be available for consumption of the general public. The houses will be available for the public at economical rates.

The postal rest house has been divided into three categories. The rest houses of A category are located in Karachi, Multan, Jhelum, Mianwali, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Nathia Gali, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Shadman Lahore, Lahore Cantt, Sialkot General Post Office (GPO), Sialkot Cantt, Faislabad GPO and Quetta.

Rs3,000 will be charged per day to avail these rest houses.

Information regarding the availability of the rest houses can be obtained via Pakistan Post's official app.
