Shocking Development In Fake Accounts Case: Zardari, Talpur In Deep Trouble
The fake accounts case took a new twist on Monday as two accused expressed willingness to testify as witnesses against Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chief Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur.

During a case hearing in Islamabad, Kiran Aman and Noreen Sultan expressed willingness to become approvers against Zardari and Faryal Talpur. The two women, who are among the 30 accused in the case, also filed an application before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman to this end.

The PPP chief, Talpur and others accused reached the court amid tight security. Over 1600 security officials were deployed within and around the accountability court in Islamabad. The case was being heard at a banking court earlier in Karachi.

The accountability judge asked NAB to verify whether Kiran and Noreen had informed the court of their willingness to testify in the case against the other accused persons.

Speaking to the media outside the court, Zardari said that he sat on the same seat Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lifetime supremo used to sit in cases against him. He described Nawaz Sharif as a 'noble man' and himself as a 'humble' one.

He added that establishment should be asked about the trail of ex-president General (retd) Pervaiz Musharraf.

The court marked the attendance of the accused persons and ordered the distribution of copies of the reference among their lawyers. The case was adjourned until April 16.
