Lack Of Sponsors Forces Pakistani Snooker Star To Raise Funds

Pakistani top snooker player Hamza Akbar has recently turned towards crowdfunding to support his career due to the lack of sponsors or any financial support from his home country.

During his career, the 26-year-old snooker star has won the Asian Snooker Championship after beating India’s Pankaj Advani in 2015. He is also won the Pakistan national champion in 2013 and 2015.

Talking to Geo News, Hamza said that he did not have enough money or sponsors that is why he has created a website so people can support him.

He is currently pursuing his career in England.

However, Hamza has not been able to compete with the top contenders of the game due to lack of fund and multiple visa problems.

The top cueist is looking to make a comeback through Qschool professional tournament which will be starting in May and therefore, he requires £1000 to enter in tournament.

The player’s crowdfunding is hosted at justgiving.com forum and he has managed to raised £30 till now.
