British-Pakistani Plans To Invest $650m In Pakistan By 2020
British-Pakistan business magnate Khalid Iqbal Bhatti plans to make $650 million worth investment in Pakistan by the end of 2020, The News reported.

A London-based major international property investment company Daniel Johns has already invested $200 million in real-estate projects in Pakistan during the past five years.

DJ's Pakistani CEO Bhatti said that Daniel Johns Group was going to put up $130 million worth of modern luxury apartments, penthouses and commercial shops under one roof in Islamabad’s Bahria Enclave.

"We don't just build property, we build futures," Bhatti said.

He said the ultra-modern 9 story Ce La Vi development will provide 367 luxury apartments and 5-star shopping malls to residents of the city. Bhatti said that he was introducing ultra-modern state-of-the-art facilities in Pakistan because of his passion for the country.

"The project will also introduce Pakistan's first-ever 9D multiplex cinema, award-winning food outlets, and five-star UK-branded spa specialising in skin care and makeup,” Khalid Iqbal Bhatti said.

While investments are decreasing due to Pakistan's economic crisis as of late, Bhatti said that he saw great potential in the Pakistani market.

“Our approach of property development says goodbye to the old days of overseas buyers having to first source and buy land," he said, adding that the aim was not to offer people property to buy, but a prosperous and luxurious future.

He promised an additional investment of 500 million pounds ($650 million) into Pakistan by the end of 2020 saying his group will execute housing projects in Lahore and Gwadar.
