Fishermen Cooperative Society's spokesperson on Thursday said another Pakistani fisherman has died in an Indian prison within a month.
According to details, Mohammad Sohail was arrested by Indian forces on October 2, 2016, after he accidentally crossed into Indian waters.
The fisherman was a resident of Muhammadi Colony in Karachi. He is the fourth Pakistani to die in an Indian jail.
Moreover, the spokesperson said that the reason behind the fisherman's death is unknown and it will take some days before his body is brought back to Pakistan.
He further added that around 108 Pakistani fishermen are still trapped in jails across India.
On April 5, Noorul Amin died after being tortured. The Indian forces kidnapped him from Pakistan's maritime boundaries two years.
