Man In England Arrested After Praising NZ Terrorist
Greater Manchester Police has arrested a 24-year-old man from Oldham after he praised the New Zealand terrorist in a social media post.

The man has posted a Facebook status, saying, “a big shout out to the guy that shot them Pa… one Love from Manchester… my friend when your picture released it will be my profile picture and that’s a promise.”

The police took action after the Facebook post was reported and condemned by many social media users.

The police have released an official press release after they detained the man, saying the man is in custody over sending “malicious communication”.

In the official press release, the police said that it was a difficult time for people as the New Zealand incident has shocked the world.

“It is at times like this that, as a community, we stand together,” it added.

Friday’s attack in two New Zealand mosques left over 49 people dead. The attacker, Brenton Tarrant, live streamed himself shooting people inside the mosque.

Tarrant is a white supremacist and from Australia.

The attack sparked a debate on growing Islamophobia and Xenophobia in west.

Since the attack, there is an overwhelming outpouring of support from across the world.
