Freeing Indian Pilot Was No Mistake. We Will Catch Him Again If Needed: Sheikh Rasheed
Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed on Saturday said that Pakistan has not made any mistake by setting Indian pilot Abhinandan free and if needed, the country ‘will arrest him again’.

Addressing a press conference, Sheikh Rasheed said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has made a noble decision by freeing Indian pilot Abhinandan, who was caught after his plane was shot down for intruding Pakistan’s airspace. Rasheed also said that Pakistan will catch him again if needed.

He said that Pakistan’s media behaved professionally and defeated the neighbouing country. “Our media beat India. Their air force and naval officers were ridiculed with questions,” he said, adding that if Pakistan and India go to war, it will be the last one because ‘Pakistan will end India’.

“Our missiles can go as far as Assam. Not even an inch of India is secure from us.” He also said that the past few days have been fruitful for the Pakistan Railways because flights were suspended so people turned to railway transportation.

Indian Wing Commander Abhinandan was handed over to India on Friday after being in Pakistan Army’s custody for two days. He was released as a peace gesture on orders of PM Khan, who reiterated Pakistan’s willingness to establish peace and stability in the region.

Khan had also reached out to Indian counterpart Narendra Modi for dialogue, but the latter did not respond despite 3 attempts by the Pakistani premier.

Tensions between the two countries have soared after the Pulwama Attack, in which 44 Indian paramilitary soldiers were killed when a van packed with explosives rammed into a convoy in occupied-Kashmir.
