When we watch the current affairs programs on our TV channels people are always blaming each other of peddling ‘Indian narrative’.
Extremists who are running certain organisations, are accused by the world of being non-state actors who use Pakistani soil for cross-border terrorism.
Though it is an allegation, these outfits should be banned. When they are banned, they start operating under new names. No one knows how they are funded and where the funds go nor has anyone tried to find out about it to date.
When people like us demand that since these organisations are bringing a bad name to my country, and are bent on failing us, they should be banned because my country has to progress now, my people have already sacrificed a lot; is this my country’s narrative, or some other country’s?
Those whose war it really was, kept watching our people being martyred, including women and children. On the borders, our soldiers kept dying, but what did we get? Even today, we’re told to ‘Do More’. But now we’ll do more for our own country. We’ve already done enough ‘Do More’ for others.
