More than 30 people, including women, reportedly held a police team hostage and beat them up in a village in Chiniot.
According to police, they conducted a raid in a village as they had information that the villagers had illegal weapons. However, when they reached the village, people besieged them and beat them up.
Police team was locked up in a house and only got released when other police van reached the spot.
Police have made no arrest yet.
