Indian Intrusion: Govt And Opposition Stand United, Call To Boycott OIC
Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director-General Major General Asif Ghafoor on Tuesday said that Indian Air Force (IAF) intruded from the Muzzafarabad sector into Pakistan but after facing timely and effective response from Pakistan Air Force released payload in haste while escaping which fell near Balakot.

Asif Ghafoor said that the intrusion within Azad and Jammu Kashmir was 3-4 miles. He said after the Indian jets’ hasty escape released payload which fell in open area. No casualties or property damages were reported.

Members of the opposition and the government are calling for all parties to come together and stand in unity to safeguard the sovereignty of Pakistan.

Our Armed Forces Are Awake, So There Is No Need To Worry: Shah Mehmood Qureshi

Foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi called the Indian action “grave aggression”. He said that Pakistan has full right to respond to Indian aggression and will do so if needed.

Qureshi also asked the nation to not worry about the situation because the nation's armed forces was awake and ready to protect Pakistan at any cost.

‘We Are In State Of War’: Khursheed Shah

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Khursheed Shah said Pakistan is now in a state of war and that the country needs to send a message to India and to the world that it is united.



In his speech earlier, Khursheed said, Prime Minister Imran Khan had said that if India attacks, Pakistan would not just think of an attack, Pakistan will attack. “Khan had said that we will not think, and we really should not.”

“If India has intruded 40kms into Pakistan, we will enter 80kms into India’s terrority”: Khursheed Shah said.

‘We Stand Shoulder To Shoulder With Our Army’: Khawaja Asif

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Asif said that despite political differences, all of Pakistan’s political parties stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the army.



“This is a matter of life and death and we are united as one. This is a matter of national security and a meeting must be called as soon as possible.”

Ayaz Sadiq Calls For Boycott Of IOC

PML-N leader Ayaz Sadiq said Pakistan must boycott Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) conference in which India is invited as an honourary guest.



“How dare the OIC call India as the honourary guest. We must boycott the OIC conference because this is about Pakistan’s sovereignty,” he said, adding that the country had to stand up for itself.

Ali Muhammad Khan Calls The Attack An Act Of Cowardice

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) said that India’s attack on Pakistan is an act of cowardice. He said that Pakistan’s wish for peace must not be mistaken for its weakness.



“If India does not cease its coward action, we will befittingly respond. We will break India into a thousand pieces,” he said.

An emergency conference headed by Prime Minister Imran Khan among other dignitaries is ongoing to access the situation.
