Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lifetime supremo Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday refused to shift to Punjab Institute of Cardiology from Services Hospital and asked the authorities to take him back to jail.
According to Geo TV journalist Arshad Waheed Chaudhry, Nawaz Sharif had a heated argument with Services hospital staff and authorities after they advised to shift him to PIC. Nawaz is admitted to Services hospital in Lahore for check-up.

Nawaz wasn’t too pleased with the advise and asked the authorities to take him back to jail.
“A three-board member has already examined me, why is there a need to shift me to a new hospital? Take me back to the jail. I have packed my belongings, just take me back to the jail,” a disgruntled Nawaz said.
On January 25, the provincial government had formed a medical board to examine the health of Nawaz Sharif.

The board comprised cardiac experts from Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC), Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) and Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology (RIC).
The board had recommended to admit Nawaz to a hospital after which he was taken to Services hospital.
