‘Conor does not deserve rematch’: Khabib tells reason why
UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov has spoken against a potential rematch with Conor McGregor saying that it does not make sense.
Khabib, who made his first title defence against McGregor last year in October, dominated the Irishman and finished him via a neck-crank. The Russian also gave McGregor the worst beating of his career during the second round of the bout which was termed as the ‘Fight of the Century’.

But Khabib does not seem too interested in doing it again, because he believes McGregor does not have the answers to the tough questions Khabib asks.
“Rematch for what? … Before last fight he talked too,” Nurmagomedov said. “But when we go inside the cage he don’t do nothing,” Khabib told TMZ.
But if McGregor stills wants to try his luck against the Russian Eagle, all he has to do is…
UFC President Dana White has said that a rematch between the two makes ‘sense’, but he had also earlier said that Tony Ferguson was the next in line. With Dana White, you can never know the truth.
Nonetheless, one thing is for sure, and that is that Khabib does not want a rematch with McGregor and if that happens, Khabib believes he would again ‘smash his face’.
