Pakistan is set to host a mega international sports event after a very long time in which skiers from 12 nations will participate.
Thirty-eight participant from 12 nations have arrived in Gilgit’s Naltar Ski Resort and will participate in Chief of the Air Staff International Karakoram Alpine Ski Cup which will take place on Tuesday.

The participating nations include Greece, Afghanistan, Turkey, Ukraine, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belgium, Morocco, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.

Naltar is the oldest ski resort of Pakistan at 10,500 feet. It is situated 25 kilometres from Gilgit town, the capital of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Sports competitions are organized on the Naltar snow during the winter season every year.
