British Airways returns to Pakistan and people can’t be happier

After a 10-year gap, Bristish Airways has announced that it will be returning to Pakistan and people cannot be happier.

“Here to announce that after more than ten years British Airways is returning to Pakistan. Starting June 2019. Flights from ISB to London Heathrow,” British Airways Asia head Robert Williams announced.

The airline will initiate flight operations from July 2019.

British High Commissioner to Pakistan Thomas Drew said the move will strengthen ties between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.

Advisor to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Sayed Zulfi Bukhari said he was glad to have helped in his humble capacity.

Former Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal said he was very pleased due to the move. He added that it was the efforts of himself and Thomas Drew that it has happened.

There’s nothing better than a good Desi Biryani. British Airways is in for a total treat.

People are lauding Zulfi Bukhari for the airlines return to Pakistan.

‘I am sure the decision is based on improved security situation in Pakistan’

In September 2008, British Airways suspended flight operations in Pakistan indefinitely after the suicide attack on Marriott Hotel in Islamabad.
