Are religious minorities really free in Pakistan?

Pakistan in response to the recent blacklisting of Pakistan over religious freedom violations said that minorities were fully protected and free to practice their religions. But is it true? Imad Zafar discusses why exactly has US blacklisted Pakistan. He adds that although US blacklisting Pakistan doesn’t mean much under President Trump as everyone is aware of Trump’s thinking and biases against Pakistan and Islam. The US has also blacklisted China, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and others. But what really happens when a country is blacklisted?
