'Not The Time To Criticise PM': Bilawal Lends Support To Govt Over Coronavirus Outbreak
Pakistan People Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has extended support to the federal government over its steps to counter the outbreak of coronavirus in the country. It is not the time to criticise the PM, he said, adding that the crisis merits enhanced unity among political parties.

He expressed these views while addressing a press conference on Thursday. The PPP chairman announced that the Sindh government would provide rations to the needy as they remain in isolation.

Talking about the Sindh government's decision to lockdown the province, he said that the government is moving towards a self-imposed exile, adding that he hoped the federal government would support the provincial authorities in this regard.
He also called on the employers to not deduct salaries of daily-wage labour amid the shutdown.
Bilawal further said that the there were two aspects to the war against coronavirus: containing the disease and lessening the economic crisis the virus will result in. He also said that the country needs mass-testing, but does not have the means for it.

The PPP leader urged the federal government to take a 'proactive' approach in handling the outbreak.
