The Sindh Government will turn the Karachi Expo Centre into a 10,000-bed hospital to help cope with the challenge of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Other measures announced in this context include the distribution of grocery packages among poor households to help mitigate the effects of the partial lockdown in Karachi. Each bag distributed in this context will contain flour, rice, daal, dried milk, sugar, ghee, tea and spices.
