Another female star has now been discovered.
According to MangoBaaz, 8-year-old Haniya Minhas is a tennis star who promises success. She started playing tennis at the age of 3 and it was her naturally gifted talents that obliged her parents to support her in her pursuit to greatness.
Her father is a fitness trainer himself and she trains at the National Training Centre in Islamabad. She stood first at the National Bank of Pakistan’s Under 14 Championship for 2019, Clark Francis Under 10 in Dubai and about a dozen more and there is no stopping her.
Haniya says her favourite tennis star is Spain’s Rafael Nadal and she aspires to be just as good as him if not better.
The little star has achieved so much on her own and with support of her family but if she, and many others like her, are to compete with world’s best players, the government has to facilitate the athletes properly.
On Monday, a 15-year-old girl from Hunza Valley in Gilgit Baltistan has made the country proud by winning two gold medal in Special Olympics held in Abu Dhabi.
Farzana Rehmat won both of the Gold medals in Shot Put competitions. She scored 4.96 points in an event held on March 17 at the Dubai Police Officer’s Club Stadium. On March 12, she had won her first Gold in the competition with 4.81 points.
